Richard’s love affair with the Sunshine Coast occurred when he travelled through the region in 2000. Coming from London he could appreciate the same wonderful climate and lifestyle that draws people to the area on a daily basis. Richard’s foray into property sales was nothing short of natural progression, with 20 years of sales experience under his belt he can modestly attribute his success to his excellent people skills and talent for negotiating. Anthea is a Queenslander who grew up a stone’s throw from the Sunshine Coast. As a young adult, she worked in science and health fields before relocating for almost a decade to South America to raise her family in an ex-pat community. Anthea came back to Australia with a clear vision on the lifestyle and environment she was seeking for her family – and the obvious choice was the Sunshine Coast.
While her professional career in Real Estate has just begun. Anthea’s keen interest in property and understanding of all the important attributes that make a house a home, align with her core values.

John Skerlak has been a Sunshine Coast local for over two decades and couldn’t imagine himself living anywhere else. When he is not working, John and his wife Julie enjoy spending time at local cafes and restaurants and enjoying all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
John’s impressive work history includes owning and managing a large construction company with a large number of employees. His involvement was critical in successful projects such as the Dinner Plain Ski Village (Mount Hotham). After 3.5 of years in the business, I had a gap year and spent some time in Europe and then in Melbourne. Shortly after, I completed my yoga teacher training and had my second child Bodhi.

Mary Horan joined Next Property Group in February 2014 as Accounts Manager, bringing with her a wealth of Admin and Finance experience from previous management roles in Banking, Hospitality, Retail and Accounting Firms. After relocating from Gosford New South Wales to the Sunshine Coast in 2012 with her husband Chris and daughter April. Mary finds that the satisfaction derived from her dynamic role with Next Property Group is definitely worth travelling from her home in Noosa.
Mary looks after the Accounts and Payroll for all of the staff at Next Property Group. She consistently meets the various organisational deadlines, both internal and external in a methodical and efficient manner. Mary enjoys walking with her Dalmatian, Lenny and is happy to see the progress he is making with his socialization skills. She also swims and plays tennis regularly embracing the climate and lifestyle that the Sunshine Coast has on offer.
